Steven J. Robinson was born in 1954 and lives in the UK. His first degree was in English Literature (Cantab). Much later, following up the realisation that existence could not be explained in Darwinian terms, he took a B.Sc. in Geology (RHUL) and a Ph.D. in Geochemistry (UCL). Academic qualifications are not sufficient to unlock the biblical texts that tell us how the world began and how it will end, but they may give some assurance that the interpretations will not be simplistic. The author is now finalising two volumes that will argue that, apart from its different timescale, the biblical tradition concerning Creation, the Flood/Cataclysm and life’s recolonisation of the earth after the Cataclysm agrees well with what we know from scientific and archaeological discovery (see also the earthhistory.org.uk website). In this respect the geological record speaks to the spiritually blind with the same prophetic voice as the Apocalypse itself. Jesus Christ – God incarnate – is both the Creator and the One who is coming. He is coming soon, and will make foolish the wisdom of the wise.
